Brenda Moses, Mayor
I was born and raised in Pittsburg, Texas, but we've lived in Goliad for over a decade now and absolutely love it. My husband Jason and I have six children along with our granddaughter Ava Mae Sas, and our grandson, Wesley Travis Warrick. Our youngest, Rose Marie, attends Goliad Middle School. The amazing school system was a major factor in our desire to move here. We quickly fell in love with the charm and small town atmosphere.
My love of this city runs deep, and the time I've spent serving and investing my time here has grown me immensely. I started my journey as our Utility Billing Clerk, then became the Finance Specialist soon after, and am currently employed with Margaret Fisseler, CPA. I served on Goliad City Council from 2015-2017. I have served as President of the Goliad Rotary Club, have coached in Goliad Little league, volunteered for the Zaragoza Society, and we participate in Ballet Folklorico de Goliad. I'm also excited to serve as Municipal Court Judge and the Emergency Management Coordinator.
As the Mayor of Goliad, my heart behind this role is that my experience as an employee, knowing how the city functions physically and financially, is that I can use that knowledge to help make proper decisions that better the lives of Goliad citizens. I look forward to meeting and serving all of you!

Robin Alaniz, Alderwoman
I am from Amarillo originally, but because of work (both my parent's and husband's) I have lived in Oklahoma, Kansas and back again to Texas. I also have had the opportunity to live in Argentina and Ecuador. I moved to Goliad in 2007 with my husband Ernest, after he decided to retire. I have been in Goliad longer than any place I had lived before. I consider Goliad home. I have 3 kids, all grown that live in Alice. I have 4 grandchildren. I graduated Montgomery County College in 1990 with an Associates Degree in Nursing. In nursing I have worked in hospitals, schools, research and home health. I currently work as a RN Consult for La Bahia Adult Daycare in Goliad.

Mary Theresa Gleinser
A seventh generation native Texan, Mary graduated from Goliad High School, attended Victoria College, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman's University. She also has Master's in Public Health, which focuses on long range planning for the health and welfare of a community, from the University of Texas School of Public Health in Houston, Texas.
Mary is a Registered Nurse (RN), and has retired from Anadarko Petroleum, where she cared for 3000 employees throughout the United States and internationally, creating health programs to meet the needs of the employees and the company. While her nursing career focused primarily on Occupational Health, she has had a multi-faceted career. From working in a hospital ER and Intensive Care; to managing a clinic operation at Astroworld; to being self-employed for eight years, providing health programs for 24 of Houston's Fortune 500 companies. Her management experience includes being the Director of Nursing at Medical Clinic of Houston. She supervised the nurses and secretaries of the clinic; and worked with a great team to improve clinic operations. She wrote the winning proposal for a corporate contract which netted more than $1 million in Clinic services.
Mary returned to Goliad in 2015 to care for her parents. She is devoted to her family, her boxers, and all things Goliad. She states quite often, “Any success I've had in life is a result of the fine values and work ethic I learned growing up in Goliad. We all help each other. Our greatest blessing is the willingness and ability to come together and serve: our community, our country; and our God. We are Goliad — a great place to raise kids and a great place to retire. I believe it's the volunteer spirit that makes Goliad the wonderful community it is. I am fortunate to call Goliad home.”
